What McCain Needs To Do

While James Carville thinks this race is dead, I am not willing to start a movement that will disenfranchise the voters. I will agree that McCain is down, but not out. He has one more chance to reach a large group of Americans before the November 4th election. Here is what he needs to do in order to take the Oval Office in January.

1. Attack, attack, attack!!! Being civil will no longer help you.

2. Bring out the connection between Obama and domestic terrorist William Ayers. We are still sensitive from 9/11. The debate is the perfect opportunity to make this connection without any media bias. Even though Obama says they were friends when he was 8, Michelle Obama stated that they served on boards together when she was on Larry King live. You need to make a strong connection between Obama and terrorism. Americans do not like friends of terrorists.

3. Attack Michelle Obama. Last year this womas was not proud to be an American. All of a sudden she is proud when faced with the possibility of not having to do housework, cooking or cleaning for the next 4 years. Give me a break.

4. Make the Republican connection with safety. Republicans have kept this country safe for 7 years. When the Democrats took their eye off of Al-Qaeda in 2000, they attacked in 2001. Connect this fact with the issue regarding Obama’s stance on diplomacy and his friendship with Ayers. If simple air strikes didn’t work after the embassy bombings in Africa in 2000, why would they work in 2009 or 2010. You need to correlate a Democrat government with an increase likelihood of attack. Use the fear tactic, call a Democrat administration one that is prone to attack.

5. I must admit, I’m stealing this point from Bill O’Reilly, but it’s a dam good point. Get angry!!!! Tell the American people that with Rudy Giuliani as your attorney general and Mitt Romney as your Treasury secretary you will go after and criminally prosecute the sons of bitches responsible for this crisis. This includes the head of the banking committees Barney Frank & Chris Dodd.

6. Blame the Democrats for this crisis. Obama has made it all too easy to connect McCain with Bush and blame them for the crisis when in fact the Democratically controlled Congress allowed for he lack of oversight to continue after McCain and other Republicans warned them of a potential problem. He needs to connect this crisis with Frank & Dodd in order to turn the tables.

7. Question Obama’s leadership. What has he led? Nothing!!! He does not chair a committee, he has not written any landmark legislation and has only been in national government for less than 3 years. He has used the Senate as a stepping stone to the Presidency and lacks the understanding of how government works. McCain needs to let the people know about how his program are SO idealistic that they would be impossible to achieve in American government. Use the phrase “promises that will never be kept”.

8. Demonstrate your substance over your style.

9. Dump the bipartisan lingo. No one cares if their President can make nice with the opposite party. We want someone who will fight for America and do what is right. You’re not elected to make friends, you’re elected to make our individual situations better within 4 years, if not sooner.

10. If you are the Maverick, be the maverick. We have yet to see it. See my next point.

11. Finally, act like the underdog. McCain is the underdog. When he was the underdog in the GOP primary, he was at his best, coming from behind to win the nomination. He needs to take on the same strategies that he used at the beginning of the year. This is when we get to see the real John McCain. Screw the base, he already has their vote and Sarah Palin is there to make sure of that.

If all else fails, you (or one of your supporters without your knowledge) can call Obama by the following names:

  • Baracki Obama
  • Obama bin Laden
  • Baracki Hussein Obama bin Laden (the axis of evil)
  • Baracki Osama
  • any other derivative of these names.

John McCain is down, but not out. If he can’t following these strategies, it might be over and the leftist pundits (Carville, Campbell Brown, Hillary Rosen, Paul Begala, etc…) may have reached their goal of disenfranchising enough swing voters to tip the scales in Obama’s favor.

  1. Hamlets, towns and cities — all across America — have Big Three dealerships. At each one a dozen or more people usually are employed. One in 10 American jobs is directly or indirectly related to the auto industry. So it is disturbing to
